Covid-19 Outbreak Update

Blackdown Support Group has been working closely with other local organisations throughout the pandemic to offer social, practical and well-being support to people in the Blackdown Hills. We are currently providing transport to medical appointments via our volunteer car scheme. We are also offering shopping trips or shopping deliveries to those who need it. We continue to provide a prescription delivery service to patients of the Blackdown Practice who cannot collect their own prescriptions and whilst restrictions allow we are offering face to face or telephone befriending, a sitting service to allow unpaid carers a break, as well as volunteer mentoring/enabling for those who are struggling to manage in the current circumstances. Welcome to the Blackdown Support Group Website

The BSG Vision is that those in need of support to relieve sickness, to preserve good health and well-being within our catchment area receive it. We work to achieve this vision by making it our mission to identify and provide a range of appropriate support measures to individuals and to groups.
